ASI Rwanda’s laboratory is staffed by highly qualified and experienced chemists who use state-of-the-art analytical equipment to deliver the most precise and prompt results for you each and every time. Our lab is fully equipped with traditional and modern instrumentation to provide fast, accurate results that you can trust.
ASI Rwanda’s laboratory provides ISO 17025-compliant analytical services for the 3Ts (tin, tantalum and tungsten), as well as manganese, iron, lithium and beryllium. Additional testing includes base and minor metals, ores and concentrates. We also offer a range of geological services to the mining and mineral exploration sector.
Our laboratory and people will tailor their services to your needs, giving you cost-effective, fast turnaround analytical services without compromising on quality or accuracy. We can perform analysis for numerous periodic table elements.
Our Analytical Instruments:
- WDXRF Zetium and PW 1480 (for determining principal and trace elements).
- EDXRF XEPOS.
- ICP-OES spectrometers (for analysing a wide range of elements at ppm for multi-elemental accurate results).
- Atomic absorption spectroscopy (to measure low levels of elements in all metallurgical materials).
- High precision titrators (for fast and accurate determination of elements including tin, copper, lead, manganese, iron and chromium).

ASI Rwanda Inspection & Analysis Services
Our strategically located inspection operations cover all of Africa’s major load ports for the 3Ts (ie tin, tantalum and tungsten), as well as base and minor metals, ores and concentrates.

ASI Rwanda Analytical Services
ASI Rwanda provides a complete service of accurate independent analysis for the 3Ts (tin, tantalum and tungsten), as well as base and minor metals, ores and concentrates. Analysis is performed by using classical wet chemistry techniques, combined with state-of-the-art high-tech instrumentation, including atomic absorption spectrometer, UV/VIS spectrometer, ICP emission spectrometer and X-ray fluorescence.
Analysis can be provided as a standalone service or combined with our representative sampling and inspection services, which are carried out through our ASI Rwanda office.
